Jerry Rothwell’s “Donor Unknown” gets UK Release

Donor Unknown publicity image

Nothing in the Hollywood imagination can compete with the plot of “Donor Unknown”.

This is what the Sunday Times had to say about our co-founder and board member Jerry Rothwell’s new documentary feature Donor Unknown and it’s just some of the acclaim that’s been poured on this “sweet-natured, affecting documentary” [The Independent].

On Friday (June 3rd) Donor Unknown gets its UK release.

The film follows the story of JoEllen Marsh, 20, as she goes in search of the sperm donor father she only knows as Donor 150. Her journey brings her into contact with 12 more half-siblings across the USA before she finally meets Donor 150, Jeffry Harrison who lives alone with four dogs and a pigeon in a broken-down RV in a Venice Beach car park.

Intrigued? We certainly were when Jerry first told us about this project and it’s no disappointment – one of the best docs you’ll see this year. The UK schedule is as follows:
