Hi8us South as production company is in full flow at the moment. We’re currently shooting a new doc-promo for the Barbican’s Creative Learning department.

As part of the Barbican-Guildhall led Shift consortium funded by Paul Hamlyn’s Artworks initiative, this project is close to our hearts. In its 30th anniversary year the Barbican is uniting with the Guildhall School of Music & Drama to launch a new learning department that brings together the benefits of an arts centre and conservertoire.

The film is being directed by our regular associate Orson Nava and crewed by a combination of professional filmmakers and, in keeping with the subject matter, young former participants of our participatory programmes. Watch out for it in May 2012.
