 Town of Runners is the latest work from our chair Jerry Rothwell. It’s a feature documentary about young runners from Bekoji – an Ethiopian highland town which has produced some of the world’s greatest distance athletes. It tells the story of two young girls as they try to run their way to a different life.  We’re currently shooting a new doc-promo for the Barbican’s Creative Learning department.  Following heaps of acclaim at New York’s Tribeca Film Festival, Jerry Rothwell returns home for the UK release of “Donor Unknown”  Just saw this [http://bbc.in/iYnY64] on the BBC News 24 website and it prompted me to air some personal views on this question.  Full of pride in one of our many talented emerging young artists, Danielle Vitalis, co-star of the film Attack the Block, we went down to the Soho Theatre to interview her.  Two Hi8us alumni hit the red carpet at Cannes and for the premiere of the most anticipated British release of the year. A Bad hair day at la Guardia but a good week in New York. LA Here I come.
